TAUPO CYCLE CHALLENGE 2008, 2009 & 2010

We have a team of riders that enter the event each year. We are certainly not high quality racers but very much casual riders who thoroughly enjoy the event each year

DALTONS - ROTORUA MOONRIDE

In early May Daltons entered two teams into the 12hr mountain bike event the "Moonride" in Rotorua. Andrew was one of the team members and came away unscathed after only ever being on a mountain bike 3 times! The only injury was when he walked into a tent peg!

Andrew ended up doing 56km over the 12hr relay! Doesn't sound like a lot but it is a fair few km's on an off road surface!

Thanks to the team at Daltons Matamata for putting the team in. We are looking forward to getting a Daltons Landscape Supplies team in the event next year!

We are now hitting the trails again in preparation for the moonride in May! This is a Silverdale based team this year and we are looking forward to the event!

TAUPO - DAY NIGHT THRILLER

A great day was had by Andrew, customer Andrew Churches and one of our suppliers Mark Gemmell from Accurate Instruments at the 12hr Taupo day night thriller 12hr relay event Mid September. The weather wasn't the greatest but it was certainly a lot of fun. We have learnt a few things like making sure Mark is healthy for the next event and that we have a support crew with massage table set up!!! (Oh and maybe a couple of ectra riders wouldn't hurt either!)

Daltons Bathurst V8 Supercars 2006. 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010...2011...

This tour has grown over the years from 6 people in 2006 to over 30 people in 2010. This has obviously become a yearly ritual and we are looking forward to 2011. The group includes many of Daltons Matamatas customers, employees and suppliers and is a great chance to get together once a year and enjoy what has become a great annual event. The first trip was the idea of PC (Daltons Matatmata, re-seller customer services manager) and he along with Andrew have been every year since. Bring on 2011 and another Holden win! (Andrew's tip: Pepsi Max racing... Go Murph!)
